ASPIRE Therapeutic Riding Program is a non-profit organization that provides benefits to individuals with emotional, cognitive, behavioral, or physical disabilities through animal-assisted activities and outreach programs. ASPIRE offers a variety of programs to individuals ranging in age 3-18 that include a therapeutic riding program; a visitation program where mini horses visit nursing homes and schools; day camp; and an experiential learning program at Bremwood Residential Treatment Facility. The benefits offered to individuals in Black Hawk County and the surrounding areas include: increased strength, flexibility, and mobility; improved confidence and self esteem; building positive relationship; and sense of belonging to something greater than themselves. ASPIRE serves individuals with various disabilities that include: Autism, Cerebral Palsy; ADHD; Mental Retardation; Visual impairment; Speech impairment; emotional problems; and learning disabilities.ASPIRE Therapeutic Riding Program provides benefits to individuals with disabilities through animal assisted activities and outreach programs.
